Giving up is always the easier option than grinding through difficult times. If you find yourself searching for answers in other places, take a step back, and focus on yourself. Positive thoughts bring out positive results, have the right mindset. Don't make excuses for why something didn't work out, excuses are the lies we tell ourselves to avoid outcomes we don't want. Look at your friend group, do they support you? Do they push you to try new things? Do they lift you up or knock you down? Don't get trapped trying to live someone else's dream, stay true to yourself and work on living your own dreams. There is no manual to this thing called life, you set the pace. Find what inspires you, and run with it!
